Does X-Ticker need my X account or API keys?
No. X-Ticker never asks for API keys, logins, or wallet access. It only reads the text visible on the page and loads TradingView's public chart widget.
Where does the chart data come from?
Charts are rendered through TradingView's official public embed (the same widget used across thousands of sites). X-Ticker doesn't host or manipulate any price data.
Will it slow down my timeline?
No. X-Ticker scans new posts during the browser's idle time using an efficient observer, so infinite scroll stays smooth even on a very active timeline.
Does it work on regular (non-crypto) tweets?
X-Ticker only activates on recognized cashtags ($BTC, $ETH…) and a curated list of ~20 major asset names — it won't highlight random uppercase words or unrelated tickers.
